Barcelona, Andorra, Italy, France, Morocco, Canary Islands, Madiera and Gibralter!
In November and December, we went to Barcelona, from which we departed on a huge (a little too big!), cruise ship to visit some other places around the Mediterranean.

We loved Barcelona, and spent a week there before the cruise, walking all over the city, visiting everything we could find.  We became fans of Gaudi's architecture, and enjoyed drinking Spanish wine, especially Cava.

We walked through the Gothic Quarter, to La Sagrada Familia, Montserrat, and took a trip to the small country of Andorra.

Once on the ship, we visited Naples again, and took a hike to the top of Mt. Vesuvius, then took the train to Pisa at another port, and then spent a great day with a local guide driving along the French Riviera, to Eze, then Monte Carlo and St. Paul.  We stopped in Mallorca and did some wine tasting on our way back to Barcelona for a second cruise.

This one took us to Morocco, where Mike stepped on his 7th Continent!  Janet hasn't made it to Australia yet, but that will be coming soon!  In Morocco, we rode camels and walked through the Kasbah.  We went from there to the Canary Islands were we hiked around the volcano Teide, then the ship went to Funchal, Madiera, where (you guessed it!) we tasted Madiera!

Our last stop was in Malaga, Spain, but we met up with some friends, and took a bus to Gibralter.

We had a great time, and know we want to go back to Tenerife to do some hiking.
